Love Missions 2017 Hurricane Relief Project

I think we can all say that in the last 30 days or so we have felt an overwhelming sense of helplessness at what has been going on in our world!

It is unbelievable that so many horrific events can happen in a matter of weeks.

First Hurricane Harvey, then Irma. Followed by earthquakes in Mexico and hurricane Maria, all the while the west and mid-west seem to be constantly on fire.

It’s barely giving us a moment to catch our breaths in between each life shaking event.

Figuring Out How You Can Help.

With so much going on, and so many needing and asking for help, it can become overwhelming to figure out where to start and exactly what to do. Will the donations I send actually get to intended people in need or will they be held up with red tape on the docks? With so many now hurting, homeless and without necessities, it’s hard to decide where to put your donations. Which charities should I send money to? How do I know which places need it the most? How do I know the organization I choose will actually use the money the way they say they will? Hopelessness and helplessness can easily settle in with so much devastation, making any effort feel useless.

No person or even organization can help EVERYONE, but if we all help SOMEONE, TOGETHER we can reach them all.

You Can Make a Difference.

BUT don’t give up hope. There are many, many amazing organizations out there doing great work! Helping those effected in every area. No person or even organization can help EVERYONE, but if we all help SOMEONE, TOGETHER we can reach them all. You can help make a difference.

Be Assured Your Help Gets To The Intended Destination.

Love Missions is doing our part to help, and we would love to have your partnership. We have received calls asking for help in Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, and South Florida, including the FL Keys, and we will be sending donations through the National Guard so you can be assured that everything will get to the intended destination.

Together We Can Make a Difference!

One family reported from St. Thomas that most residents were left with only the clothes on their backs. Their homes are destroyed, places of employment leveled, leaving them with no way to provide a source of income. The Island is bare, stores have no food, and money is useless at this point. They need our help, with simple basic necessities like clothing, feminine products and hygiene supplies.

Help bring hope and dignity to those who are in desperate need. Get involved in extending love, hope and compassion to all who are hurting. Please join us in making a difference.
