✈️As we travel through airports, these posters in the bathrooms are impossible for me to ignore, they always draw my attention and make me think, and that’s exactly the point.
These posters provide critical information, discreet access to help, and a lifeline for anyone who may be in danger.
Not long ago, these signs were rare. Now they’re appearing in airports across the country. This one was in Austin, thank you @bluecampaign for bringing awareness into high-traffic, high-risk spaces.
I’m especially thankful for @orlandointernationalairport for installing these resources in our local airport, and for @unitedabolitionist for offering a safe space for victims right inside the airport. Awareness paired with action is what truly creates change.
Some airports have them throughout the airport.
👉Progress happens when information is visible, help is accessible, and people care enough to act.
👉Seeing these posters reminds me that we are moving forward, one sign, one safe space, one life at a time. It's good to look at the positives.
❓How many of you notice the posters in or around airports or in bathrooms?
Just curious if others notice them too.

💙January is Human Trafficking Awareness Month, and with it comes a whirlwind of powerful moments. This last week was especially full as we joined several meaningful events across our community.
We participated in the 18th Annual Human Trafficking Awareness Conference hosted by @wickey_byrd and Tomas J Lares with United Abolitionists alongside UCF, Rosen College, and the Center for Human Trafficking and Modern Day Slavery.
We then had the honor of attending the Polaris Awards, recognizing those courageously serving on the front lines.
We ended the week close to home with the Red Sand Project at Palate Coffee Roasters Elevate Her Boutique
Hosted by The Central Florida Human trafficking taskforce. Chairs Olivia and Mikala
Standing alongside community leaders, nonprofits, law enforcement, lived-experience survivors, UCF and our community, was both humbling and encouraging. The awareness, support, and unity we witnessed remind us that this work cannot be done alone.
Change happens when we stand together, and this week proved just how strong that collective impact can be.
REMEMBER:
Trafficking doesn’t stop in February.
Exploitation doesn’t take breaks.
Victims don’t get days off.
Thank you to everyone working so hard to fight this evil.
Thank you to all our volunteers.🩵
What can you do?
Join one of these or another organization that supports survivors and is making a difference and together change can happen.
If you want training, to volunteer, or to donate reach out we'd love to help.

👉Worth the read:
You step off the ride still catching your breath.
Your kids are buzzing—faces flushed, voices overlapping as they relive the scariest parts. No one admits fear.
What’s next? Biggest drop?
Before that...food!
You drift toward a stand, eyeing an oversized smoked turkey leg, briefly wondering why yours never tastes that good.
That’s when you see them.
Three teenage girls sit on a bench just beyond the crowd. About your kids’ age. Close enough to notice without trying.
Something is off.
One picks at chipped nail polish like she can’t stop. Another nudges a dirty gumball back and forth with her shoe. The third stares at the ground, unblinking.
They aren’t laughing. Talking. Watching the chaos.
They aren’t really here.
A woman in her forties paces in front of them, phone in hand. Texting. Stopping. Turning. Her eyes flick to the girls, then sweep the crowd. Over and over. Waiting. Watching.
Your stomach tightens.
A child tugs your arm.
“Can we do this one next? Please. It’s only a thirty-minute wait.”
You nod, but your eyes drift back.
A man approaches. No smile. No hesitation. He hands the woman a backpack and speaks low. The girls stand immediately and move toward him. The woman replies fast, then disappears into the crowd with the bag.
The man stays.
He looks around once. Tilts his head.
The girls start walking. He follows close behind, scanning as they move.
Around you—families, strollers, laughter, music. No one notices.
But you do.
You know something is wrong.
You have a choice.
What do you do?
