Communications Intern

Position Overview
As the Communications Intern for Love Missions, you would develop new content for the Love Missions website, Facebook pages, and Instagram accounts. Love Missions is always looking for new ways to effectively tell our story, so this internship offers opportunities for you to grow in your storytelling, whether it’s writing for the website or speaking at one of our events, like a Packing Party where we put together freedom bags.

Basically, here’s what you’ll be doing:

• Managing all social media accounts
• Updating the Love Missions website with new information and upcoming events
• Writing blog posts and newsletters for Love Missions and Palate Coffee Brewery
• Speaking at different Education and Care project events
• Creating new ways to grow our local impact through social media
• Helping organize and lead Packing Parties

By the end of the internship, you’ll know how to:

• Work with all sorts of people who are passionate about helping others
• Inspire others to share your passions with you
• Find new ways to communicate what matters to you
